Work, work and work

It's already the last week of February and it's hard to believe that I've been here almost two months. Where has the time gone?

So I've been very busy the last couple of weeks. There is always something to do and you never get bored here. :) So about three weeks ago I went to see the Wicked- musical with Taarna. And it was very different to Phantom Of The Opera but I still loved it. The only negative thing was, that the music was quite loud, so some earplugs would have been nice.

I also went shopping in Westfield (two times actually) and I bought a dress, a few tops and some cosmetics etc. It was really nice and I think that I have to go back soon, because the weather here is slowly getting warmer and I need more summer clothes since most of my clothes are for winter.

I also visited Camden Town and the Portobello Road Market last weekend and it was great. The market was really packed with people, but of course it was Saturday so that was to be expected. It was also a very nice weather out so my weekend was great. :)

So a little more about my work. Our booking system is Tourplan and the last month I've really been learning a lot about it. In the end, it is quite simple. I work in the Ticket Department, so we deal with Theatre-, Football-, Musical- bookings etc. I've been doing a lot of Thriller, Lion King and Let It Be musical bookings.

I've also been checking invoices and inputting them into Tourplan. Of course, then there's the normal office duties I do, like opening the mail, answering the phone, going to post office and the bank etc. I've also been updating the Theatre Lists, that we have in Excel quite a lot and it is quite fun, but sometimes it does take a long time.

Doing deliveries though is the best part. For example, I've taken tickets to different hotels near Covent Garden and it's so nice to be able to see the hotels a little bit and the area. :)
My workday includes lots of things, but mostly I do bookings, answer the phone, open the mail etc. So I do quite a lot of the same stuff every day.
